Interoperability between all four public IM services

You can access all your contacts from Mundu, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, and AIM through one interface. Mundu IM’s single interface will make your entire community of online contacts available. You save the time to download and install these messengers separately on your handheld. And once all your contacts are available together, chatting with them becomes convenient and easy.

Cross Conferencing

Cross conferencing is Mundu IM’s most extraordinary feature. You can hold a conference with buddies from Yahoo, AIM, ICQ, MSN and Mundu IM services simultaneously. Invite these buddies from different IM services for conferences and hold discussions with them. Cross conferencing saves time and removes any duplication of effort of typing the same chat information to buddies on disparate IM services.

Mundu Messaging Service

Mundu Messaging Service is an independent IM service on Mundu IM V3. So apart from chatting with your buddies on public IM services you can also develop your own community of Mundu IM V3 users, once you sign up. This community is called the Special Mundu Users Group or SMUG, where you can create your profile, join groups, view other SMUG members' profiles and add them to Mundu Messaging Service on Mundu IM V3 and get chatting!

Full Support in Background Mode

With Mundu IM on your handheld, you need not worry about logging in and missing any piece of the action thereafter. The Mundu Wizard will take you through a series of configuration options so you can have personal settings such as:

	Sign on automatically in background mode (find out more)
	Stay connected even after you exit the application
	Set your status to ‘Away’ when in background mode
	Receive alerts for when you receive IMs and mails, when buddies come online or add you and when a conference is initiated
	Choose how you want to be alerted – vibration/sound/pop-up window
	Set an auto-reply in background mode

They’re an inseparable part of any real IM conversations. And now you can use them generously with your buddies while chatting with them.

Rich Text

Add some color to your chats by customizing the color, font and style of your chat text. Mundu IM V3 now supports a range of text options to make your chats richer and more exciting.

Group Management

Create new ones, rename the old, delete the ones you that don’t work for you. Group management on Mundu IM will help sort your contacts so you know where to find them.

Status

Online for your spouse on AIM,. Invisible for a friend trying to sell you his old car on Yahoo. For a colleague on MSN, you’re ‘Out for lunch’. Change your status for each messaging service as per your need of the hour. With Yahoo, you can even create your custom status.
