Prashant Mulekar
Executive Director & Co-founder
Co-founder, Executive Director and Chief Finance Officer at Geodesic, Prashant completed his Mechanical Engineering from VJTI, Mumbai, and PGDM from IIM, Lucknow. A pro at accounting, he is responsible for the overall finance management of the company, and has led Geodesic to rank amongst the top global communications company.
With more than 15 years of experience, Prashant worked with a wide range of companies like TELCO and SIDBI (the principal financial institution for the promotion, financing and development of small scale sector industry). He consulted various companies like Aftek Infosys Ltd., Hindustan Platinum Ltd. etc. and was also involved in restructuring companies and making them viable again.
An expert in his field, over the years, Prashant has been actively involved in laying down various policies and streamlining the treasury function at Geodesic. He has taken various effective steps to improve shareholders’ value through growth and maintaining returns on income (ROI).
Having played a key role in setting up offices at strategic locations across the globe so as to enable the company to market its products effectively, Prashant has also contributed in acquiring various technology/ non-technology companies in India and abroad.
Apart from handling all these responsibilities, he is also the Editor and Publisher of Chandamama, the number one children’s magazine in India.
Prashant is an environmentalist. He drives a battery-operated car called Reva.
